Working closely with James O'Connell from Round, we designed and built a WordPress site to showcase Manchester-based video production company; Paragon Pictures' large collection of work.

The Paragon Pictures website was built on WordPress with Advanced Custom Fields. We created a large catalog of flexible content blocks to allow the team to expand on the site with minimal effort. Allow blocks to be placed in any order without causing appearance issues.

We also incorporated brand elements throughout, to create depth of field and sense of immersion whilst browsing their portfolio.

The Paragon team were after a unique way to showcase a large amount of their clients in a small space, so we developed a horizontal scroller that had an interactive flurry to it.

With a large amount of video work to showcase, speed was of utmost importance, taking advantage of Javascript, AJAX and transients we were able to load all of Paragon’s projects without any extra page loads and minimal load time. Each item showcased the video project and allowed for a brief description of the work.
